About the Author

Known for writing contemporary women’s literature that examines friendship, loyalty, self-discovery, and the often overwhelming problems life provides, Wendy Wax is a USA Today bestselling author.

Wendy was born in St. Petersburg, Florida, and spent her formative years on St. Pete Beach, only steps from the Gulf of Mexico. Wendy attended Sunshine Elementary School, which was appropriate given that art class and recess occasionally took place on the beach and that the annual fish broil was the highlight of every academic year. Her “Ten Beach Road” novels, TEN BEACH ROAD, OCEAN BEACH, THE HOUSE ON MERMAID POINT, SUNSHINE BEACH, ONE GOOD THING, and BEST BEACH EVER, all feature some of her favorite Florida beaches as their settings, which is not surprising.

Writing by Wendy has received excellent praise. She “writes with breezy wit and keen insight into family interactions,” according to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Her novels have been highlighted on online book sites including On a Clear Day I Can Read Forever, Luxury Reading, Book Reporter, Night Owl Reviews, and Fresh Fiction as well as in national media like USA Today, Ladies Home Journal, and Woman’s World.
