This book is intended so that everyone in a company, from front-line workers to top executives, may work together to help the company grow. There’s no reason to go it alone, yet many top executives believe they’re the ones dragging the rest of the company up the S-curve. The purpose of this book is to show you how to change what feels like a weight on your shoulders into a breeze at your back: creating a firm where your employees are engaged, your customers are marketing for you, and everyone is generating money. To do so, Scaling Up focuses on the four primary decision areas that every business must master: people, strategy, execution, and cash.
The book features a number of new one-page tools, including an updated One-Page Strategic Plan and the Rockefeller Habits ChecklistTM, which have been used by over 40,000 businesses around the world to successfully scale their businesses, with several reaching $1 billion in revenue and beyond. It’s all about flexibility when it comes to running a business. Scaling Up teaches corporate leaders how to get their teams working together to produce something meaningful while also having fun.
