They clearly have a touch of genius, the traditional Midas Touch. Are their skills, however, transferable? Is there anything else they can teach us than how to get money?. GET FREE AUDIOBOOK

William Green’s book Richer, Wiser, Happier is based on 25 years of interviews with some of the world’s most successful investors. Their abilities extend far beyond the financial realm, as he realized. Mavericks and iconoclasts who question conventional thinking and earn greatly from their capacity to think more rationally, meticulously, and objectively are the most successful investors. They are master game players who consciously increase their chances of long-term success in markets and in life while reducing the risk of disaster.

They have established a high tolerance for pain and draw significant insights from a variety of fields. They are also extremely intuitive about trends, exercise fanatical discipline, and have developed a high tolerance for pain. According to Green, the best investors can teach us not only how to get rich, but also how to think better, make better judgments, analyze risk, avoid costly mistakes, build resilience, and use uncertainty to our advantage.

Green takes us into the lives of more than 40 super-investors, visiting them in their companies, homes, and even places of worship to learn from them. From Sir John Templeton to Charlie Munger, Jack Bogle to Ed Thorp, Will Danoff to Mohnish Pabrai, Bill Miller to Laura Geritz, and Joel Greenblatt to Howard Marks, the list goes on and on. This “unexpectedly informative” (Peter Diamandis) book explains how they think and why they win, providing “many nuggets of wisdom” (The Washington Post) that will benefit you both financially and personally.
