RGU SPORT offers a number of sports scholarships to promising sportsmen and women to support them in developing their talents and succeeding in their chosen sporting field whilst undertaking academic study.
The annual scholarships are intended to assist students in all aspects of their athletic endeavors. The scholarship is tailored to address individual requirements on a case-by-case basis, rather than providing financial support to participants.

Athletes who are at or near national standard in their sport are provided scholarships on a yearly basis.

About Robert Gordon University
Robert Gordon University, commonly referred to as RGU, is a public university in the city of Aberdeen, Scotland. It became a university in 1992, and originated from an educational institution founded in the 18th century by Robert Gordon, a prosperous Aberdeen merchant, and various institutions which provided adult education and technical education in the 19th and early 20th centuries. It is one of two universities in the city (the other is the much older University of Aberdeen)

Requirements for Robert Gordon University Bachelors Qualification
- To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following criteria:
- An enrolled student of the University engaged on at least a part-time course at the undergraduate, postgraduate, or research level; or
- A prospective student of the University awaiting confirmation of the award of a place; or in exceptional circumstances, a former student of the University who graduated within the last 12 months
- Competing at a level that will not only increase the standards of athletes within RGU but also the level of representation for the university within the sporting landscape.
