When creating a Youtube Channel, you will be presented with two options to choose from, which are (Personal account and Brand account).
I will show you the steps and the differences to set up both accounts.
The first thing first is to get your Google (Gmail) account and visit the Youtube website.
Then, click on “Sign In,” then choose to enter a personal or brand account if you have one already.
If you don’t have any, quickly click “More Options,” select “Create Account,” and fill in your details and then continue.
At the upper-right corner of the page, click on the blue circle having the first letter of your name or your Google account picture and then click “My Channel.”
Now, fill out the information with your name if you want a personal channel or enter your brand/company’s name if you want a corporate channel.
Then, click on “Create Channel.” Now all is set, it is time to customize and manage your channel.
Customizing a YouTube Channel
After you click on “Create Channel,” a page will be displayed with your details. Then click on “Customize Channel.”
Here, you can click to edit the image if you like; for a personal channel, you can add your picture, or maybe if it’s for your brand, then you can add a logo image.
- Add a channel art with a maximum of 6 MB and a recommended size of 2560 x 1414.
- Add Featured Channels.
- Add or change your Profile Picture.
- Enable or Disable popular Channels on YouTube.
- Add a section for your videos in case you want to separate them on different topics.
You can also click to adjust the Language, location, and then edit to customize all other options.
After customizing, hover to the upper-left corner and click on “My Channel” to view your channel after the customization.

You can as well import the videos from Google photos and also start Live Streaming.
