Hot Love Inferno by Nicky Blue – This is actually the first of your books that I have ever read and I think that it is a great book. Although the title does not exactly do justice to the content of the book, it doesn’t change the fact that it is a good book.
Personally, I think the main character was sort of a surprise package; turning out to be a whole lot more sensible and younger than he was depicted in the first few pages of the book. To be frank, the book started off as boring and without any specific point until I got to read it up to chapter 4 or thereabout then I actually got the drift about where the story was headed. It is quite easy to lose interest in such a book after you’ve read the first few pages. Not many readers would be patient for that long.
Keith’s narrative notes were definitely a bonus and they kept the vibes going. All in all, I think Hot Love Inferno is hilarious yet irksome and lewd in some way; I definitely cannot deny the fact that it was quite obscene but then it is filled with suspense and action in turns. It gives you the surprise you least expected and to top it all, a satisfying ending.
This is the first comedy novella I’ve actually ever read and I must say, despite the odds, I enjoyed it.
