Book Review by Born To Read
Literature at its best
Literature at its best, something you cannot reproduce, imitate or understand: you have to read this book. It has all the great components of romance and passion, woman power, intrigues of politics, corruption of a system, the hopes of a new generation, description of an era, a country, a lifestyle.
No wonder movie after movie have been using this story to feature contemporary beauty role models into it. But do these movies really render the accuracy of the inner workings and idealism of Tolstoy? Or are they a revamped, diluted version of the real thing?
This book is definitely on the list of those books you have to read before you die!
